Arts and Creativity
Arts and creativity are part of the curriculum starting from the Children’s House and throughout Primary School.
By experimenting with raw materials, different kinds of objects, graphic and precision tools and by being exposed to works of art by contemporary and past artists alike, children have the opportunity to acquire technical skills while being encouraged to develop a personal, free and critical interpretation of visual-expressive language.
Sharing one’s personal vision of the world through art means acquiring a precious tool for self-expression, while leaving behind a significant and indelible trace of one’s own growth path.
In line with the Montessori principles, art is approached in a non-judgemental way, enabling the children to progressively gain awareness of the fact that what they are creating is truly unique.
