Testimonials from our former students and parents
Here are some testimonials from former students and their parents.
Different characters and inclinations, as well as the various academic paths they have taken, but what they share in common is passion, intellectual curiosity, and commitment to the different paths they have followed.
Pepe A.
I attended the Childrenās House and the Primary School at the Bilingual Montessori School of Milan from 2011 to 2019, and my experience at this school was wonderful, so much so that I still often return to visit with great joy.
I believe I enjoyed this period of my life so much because learning was spontaneous and fun, and I always wanted to do and learn new things thanks to the method used, which encouraged me and never made me feel pressured or obligated. This was also due to the atmosphere among classmates, teachers, and all the staff.
This foundation has allowed me, in the schools Iāve attended since, both middle and now high school, to feel very at ease in my relationships with teachers and in terms of academic results. I am certainly independent and approach school and studying with peace of mind.
Pietro B.
My name is Pietro, I am 16 years old, and I attended the Bilingual Montessori School of Milan on Via Palmieri 72 for 8 years.
I can only say that I am very satisfied with the experience: I spent peaceful years, but at the same time, I learned a lot, and most importantly, I learned how to learn. This educational experience taught me from a young age the ability to visualize abstract concepts, thanks to the use of materials. The freedom in learning and self-assessment gave me the chance to enjoy what I learned without ever worrying about grades.
Even after elementary school, I never encountered major academic difficulties, and above all, having had the opportunity to be exposed to the English language from the age of 3 helped me communicate with people from other countries in any setting.
Today, it gives me the opportunity to consider studying at a university abroad. I spent entire years happily going to school, being with my classmates, and learning new things.
Arianna B.
Hello everyone, my name is Arianna, and I am a former student of this school. I would like to start these brief lines by saying that even today, the Montessori method is often questioned, and people wonder how it might be useful in future studies, whether in high school or university.
I believe that everyone is different, we all need our own study method, and we all discover who we are and who we want to become at our own pace, and we do so in a purely subjective way.
I, too, needed my time, and I believe I will need much more, but I can say with certainty that for me, this school and this method were like a gym for life, helping me develop my willpower and independence.
As I grew, I began to discover my interests, and from a very young age, I became passionate about studying and the things I learned.
I was fascinated by what I learned; I found it fun and engaging, never boring, and this, in my opinion, is a difficult and very precious condition to find.
At this school, I didnāt just find a school, but a second family. I found friends with whom I still have important bonds and teachers who not only taught me subjects but accompanied me on my growth journey, making me feel loved.
For anyone who chooses to embark on a journey at this school, there will be a wealth of experience and joy to carry with you, just as I still do.
Good luck!
Sofia e Vittoria N.
Hello! We are Sofia and Vittoria, and we both attended this school from the early years of the Childrenās House to the fifth grade of the Primary School… needless to say, we had a great experience! The environment created within the classrooms is something magical that we have never been able to find in any other school setting. The deep bond that forms with classmates and teachers is special and unique, just like the Montessori method.
This method, along with the expertise of the educators, helped us greatly in our academic journey after leaving the Montessori environment.
The school not only provided us with excellent English skills, but it also contributed to our development in terms of independence and concentration. The opportunity to cultivate an open and creative mind was a constant, and the teaching of respect for individual learning paces played a crucial role in making us appreciate school and the learning process.
We will be forever grateful to the teachers and all the professionals who accompanied us on this journey, thank you!
Parents of Sofia and Vittoria N.
We are the parents of two girls, now 16 and 12 years old, who attended the Bilingual Montessori School on Via Palmieri.
. We still remember how difficult it was to choose, among the vast array of educational options in Milan, a school that could recognize our children’s uniqueness while also providing them with an adequate level of education. This school became an educational haven for them, in an extraordinary environment where their intellectual and personal growth was nurtured with care and love. All the teachers, coordinated by the legendary Genya, made every day an engaging and exciting experience (I still remember how hard it was to convince my eldest daughter to come home after the after-school program!). Additionally, they managed to seamlessly integrate bilingual education, helping the children develop their language skills naturally. However, the aspect we appreciated the most was the personalized attention given to each child, without comparison, allowing them to develop self-esteem, as well as autonomy and responsibility.
We are happy with the opportunity we gave them, as they have grown not only as students but also as strong individuals, ready to face the continuation of their academic and life journeys.
Parents of Pepe and Nina
Our experience with this school began back in 2011 when our eldest son joined the Childrenās House. We continued with elementary school for him, and later, our youngest daughter also started at the Childrenās House, followed by elementary school.
We found a welcoming environment that paid attention to both children and parents. Throughout these years, it has been a safe place for us to leave our children, knowing we were bringing them to a stimulating, serene place with skilled and passionate people who truly love their work.
We chose this school because of its focus on autonomy and respect for the Montessori method in supporting children’s growth, but also for its teaching approach, which always takes each childās individual characteristics into account, encouraging their personal interests and helping them face challenges with calmness and dedication.
We were worried that the transition to more traditional schools would be difficult, but the academic skills they gained proved to be highly valuable, and their sense of ease with school and studying has been an invaluable asset and a solid foundation, the benefits of which we have seen over time.
